We’ve had a year where we’ve been able to emerge from the clutch of Covid and offer a good range of opportunities and events, including the amazing bicentenary outdoor concert, PTA summer fete, KS2 performances and the Year 6 Leavers’ Service.
We are so pleased with the children’s learning across the curriculum and socially, and it has been lovely to see them developing their understanding and acting out of our school Values.
To those leaving us today – goodbye and good luck! For those remaining, we look forward to seeing the new Y1 to 6 back at 8.45 on Wednesday 7th September and EYFS children on their staggered start.
We have some exciting things to look forward to next year, but for the moment – let’s reflect and bask in the achievements and joys of this year, and make sure we all have a relaxing and fun-filled summer holiday.
I can’t believe I’ve now been headteacher at this fantastic school for two whole years, and I was humbled by the lovely feedback from some of our Year 6 parents today about how we’re moving forwards – thank you.
Thank you also, on behalf of myself and all of the staff, for the all of the lovely gifts, messages and cards – we’ve been humbled by your generosity and thoughtfulness.
Have a lovely summer!
