You will be aware that Covid is still us, leading to staff and child absences and more disrupted learning for children. Testing is not so common now so please keep an eye out for an upset stomach or sickness, a high temperature, cold like symptoms and tiredness. If your child is experiencing any of these symptoms and you are unable to test, please can we ask that they stay off school until they feel better. We do ask that if your child does test positive for Covid that they stay off school for at least 3 days (not including the day that they test positive) and do not return to school if they still have a high temperature
We will always do our best to cover staff absence but our bank staff and agencies are experiencing the same capacity issues so please bear with us if some experiences are put on hold or communication isn’t as efficient as usual. Please note that we do not send work home for poorly children as they should be resting and recovering. If your child is well and at home then you may wish to access online learning materials via Purple Mash, BBC Bitesize or the Oak National Academy via the following links. Please also refer to this term’s phase letters for other information about the EYFS, KS1, LKS2 and UKS2 curricular respectively.
